This Training Trigger starts lively discussions concerning management due diligence before enforcing what seems a cut-and-dried cardinal workplace rule concerning termination. Is the employee being subjected to harassment? Also introduced is an additional complication: discovery of an additional firing offense. Does the first offense get dismissed? Does acting on the second offense risk additional charges of selective enforcement?
